Smoky Mountain Brewery in Pigeon Forge is set in a strip mall where there is a movie theater, a lumberjack show, an obstacle course, and many other shops. Parking can be a challenge especially on game day and the place will often be packed. Inside, the brewery has a nice casual feel and is more like a restaurant than a brewery. However, they have TVs located all throughout the brewery. If you sit in the bar area, hope you get a female bartender otherwise you will be waiting for service. This branch of the Smoky Mountain Brewery franchise often over works its bartenders with a single bartender carrying the entire bar and restaurant.
Their pizzas are always excellent. However, their naked wings are a crapshoot … good one visit and not another. The sad thing about the Smoky Mountain Brewery in Pigeon Forge is that their beer quality is inconsistent. We’ve actually been served beer that was undrinkable. This is very unlike their sister brewery the Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg which has never served us a bad beer. If you have a choice, go to Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg.
